Game One 7 Players
Dismal showing at our game last night. Only seven players (out of a mailing list of over forty!). The first game was brutal with Steve Stepp calling my Aces (top pair) with K 7 off and catching a seven to win my all in. Keith wasn't able to catch a break all night losing with the better hand.
I spoke to Keith last night and he suggested a couple rules about POY points. For a game like Scott Chislers' to count for POY points we have to have at least five members of our group attend and they have to be at least 50% of the players.
The battle of the bracelet night meets both of those criteria so those games count. So we go back to the original POY points. Here they are:
Since the creation of this website we have had six games. One point is given for every dollar earned. So far these are the results:

We will be playing on Friday Oct. 22nd at my house in downtown LaGrange. The game will start promptly at 7pm. I will have food and drink so I"d appreciate letting me know if you think you can make it.
If you need the address email me or Keith.
I spoke to Keith today and he doesn't think we should count Scott Chislers' games in our points. We should only have our games count. That makes sense.
Without Scott's Battle for the Bracelet night the results with four games played are:
UPS Randy 100 3 Cashes
Matt Davis 80 1 Cash
Matt Kocsis 70 1 Cash
Ryan Ksenich 70 1 Cash
Scott Nardi 30 1 Cash
Kevin Chisler 30 1 Cash
Todd Smith 20 1 Cash
Randy Patterson 20 1 Cash
Chad 20 1 Cash
Kate Patterson 10 1 Cash

Game One 14 players
Good turn out with fourteen players.
The first hand I got pocket sevens and bet out with only Kate calling. I know that whenever Kate calls I'm in trouble. I got a seven on the flop but still wasn't comfortable against Kate. I got the last seven to give me quads on the river getting some chips off Kate. I know against Kate I need quads or better to get chips.
At the other table Matt was getting cards and raking in chips. Kevin was new to me and it was hard to get a read on him. Matt played very well and took first place. Congratulations Matt Davis.
Our bi-weekly game will be held Friday October 8th at Matt Kocsis' house. The doors open at 6:30 and the game will start promptly at 6:45.
Matt is asking for emails if you are plan on coming. He can only accommodate fourteen players due to being inside.

I've received a few responses so far on this site and one had a suggestion that we add a message board so that we could talk about the games and such. I'm open to any ideas.
